Clinopodium umbrosum (M. Bieb.) K. Koch, Linnaea 21:673. 1849
syn: Melissa umbrosum M. Bieb; Calamintha umbrosa (M. Bieb.) Fisch. & C. A. Mey.
Ascending perennial herb with opposite ovate-oblong leaves on up to 10 mm long petioles. Flower clusters (verticillasters) in upper axils, loose, 10-20 fld, in axils of 2-4 mm long bracts; corolla pink to purple, corolla 6-9 mm long. Common on the mountain slopes usually in shaded places on moister situations.
I have a feeling that the plant displayed at FOI may not be this species, differing in blue flowers, never seen in this species.
