This is another herb photographed on the way to Hampta Pass at the altitude of approx.12000 ft.

Date/Time: 27-09-2010 / 01:20PM
Location: Near "Balu ka Gera" on the way to Hampta Pass (Manali region)
Habitat: Wild
Plant Habit: Herb

If the leaves along side belong to this plant, then this should be S. moorcroftiana and your other plant with broader leaves as S. parnassifolia.

I meant Saxifraga moorcroftiana and Saxifraga parnassifolia, not Sedum.

Sorry for oversight.
No, the longer leaves along side may not belong to the plant in flower. The 5 distinct carpels clearly suggest it is not Saxifraga. It could be Sedum only, or related genus of Crassulaceae.
