It can't be a herb. it is definitely a shrub. If it grows to a height of 15 feet as you have written it should be Vaccinium corymbosum L., the highbush blueberry or swamp bleberry.

Yes of course sir... I saw it after I pressed the send button.... but of
course I had said tree in the Subject so guessed that everyone would
know that I typed 'herb' as a routine habit...

Yes Amit ji, you are right
After re-look saw that although flowers in two look similar, ovary is inferior or sem-inferior in Vaccinium. It is clearly superior here, as found in Lyonia.
