Dear Friends
The results of the first voting on this forum have been on the expected lines, although only lesser number of people participated due to hazard of having to select from more than 6000 mails. Our stalwarts Mr. Dinesh Valke, Dr. Satish Phadke, Mr. Parshant Awale, Mr. Pravin Kawale, Ms Ushadi Micromini and Ushadi Dr. Balkar Singh received the maximum nominations, but the winner hands down was Dr. Pankaj Kumar for his photograph of Paphiopedilum venustum (slide10.jpg.). Congratulations Pankaj ji. Great show of Orchids and this one ([efloraofindia:84781] ORCHIDACEAE: Lady Slipper Orchids - Paphiopedilum venustum (Wall. ex Sims) Pfitzer) is one of the best photograph i had seen. Hoping to see many more such photographs in future.
