Boy carrying Atti tree branch- (Fig tree branch. Ficus glomerata)

The boy's burden is for a rather significant reason - a coming of age literally for somebody in his family. A girl in his home has attained puberty for which branches from this tree (that the boy was carrying) along with that of the Jack fruit tree would be used to make a temporary dwelling -  a hut. The girl in question would be made to sit there for three days.

The boy has to walk another 3 kms to reach his home. Tenably good intentions hidden behind these age old practice.
