[Arijit Banerjee]

Could some one help identifying this plant please? It was imaged in Baishnabghata, Kolkata in a marshland. The plant as such had a spongy body.

Really nice photograph of possibly Commelina benghalensis. More of leaves would have helped confirmation of species.

The above is either Commelina diffusa or Commelina clavata if u have another picture with flower spathe then pls post it again, It helps in proper identity. Once again Superb photo..........
