Dear all,

A wild flower for ID

Location - Roadside, on the way to Pahalgam from Srinagar
Habitat - Looks to be wild (Herb 8 to 10 inches tall)
Photo taken in June 2011.
Flower size 20 to 25 mm

Common Dandelion, a Herb / Weed present everywhere in the world.
I have seen this in plenty in north Finnland and even auf Spitzbergen.
I just don't have any foto and can't say if it was a variety of Dandelion.
Wild, but leaves can be used to make salad, flower to make Jelly, Hmmm,
and petals dipped in spirit for a few days gives it a nice flavour and
color.
