Dear all,
Please help to id this prickled Asteraceae shrub. Sorry for poor photographs.

Location: Ooty town, Nilgiris [roadside]
Altitude: 2000 MSL
Date: 05 Dec 2010; 05:30PM

Height: c. 1 metre
Leaf: c. 15 x 10 cm
Inflorescence: 3- 5cm across; pink

Yes exactly Singhji and Tanayji, I googled for and got the the images at one hit.
the plant is Silybum marianum (L.) Gaertn. of Asteraceae, native of Tropical America.
