There is one main difference between Cactaceae and other cactaceae
llike plants
Cactus will never have leaves except for a genus called Pereskia.
Almost all other families with cactus like habit will have leaves.
In Cactaceae what looks like spines are actually modification of
leaves, but in Euphorbiaceae spines are the modification of stipules.
