I do not think that this is Myristica fatua Houtt. var. magnifica (Bedd.) Sinclair (your subject line says Myristica malabarica). And some I think this is neither of this . 
To me this looks like Knema attenuata of Myristicaceae family, an endemic tree of the Western Ghats. 

Myristica fatua Houtt. var. magnifica is restricted to the Fresh water swamps in the Southern Western Ghats. By the way, you haven't mentioned the place where you have seen this.
