Deciduous tree with simple leaves, yellow flowers turning brownish with age in elongated enflorescence; fruit fruit about 2.5-3 cm, turning yellow when ripe.

Common names: Beechwood, Gmelina, Goomar teak, Kashmir tree, Malay beechwood, White teak, Vemane

Good information sir, 

just to add, in Maharashtra it is famously known as Shivan or Gambhari in Sanskrit.

As the tree wood is white in colour, light in weight and fast growing tree, the famous  wooden toys of Savantwadi (Maharashtra) are made from this plant and also from Pangara (Erythrina species)
