Dera friends,
Since there are some members on the forum who'd know a lot about grasses
too (at least I think it is grass).. just thought I'd id these as well

Location Kalatope chamba dist
Altitude 2100 mt
Habit herb
Habitat wild/ near streams
Height 18-20 inches

Again not a grass. It is Equisetum, I think Equisetum arvense, the common horsetail.

This plant is rough to touch and was used in older times to clean utensils (like we use scotch bright now) and hence named as scouring rush also.
