Potentilla clarkei Hook.f., Fl. Brit. India [J. D. Hooker] 2: 351. 1878


Plant endemic to Kashmir, an erect herb covered with long silky hairs; leaves with 5-7 leaflets, lower leaflets much smaller than upper; stipules leafy, semi-ovate; inflorescence stiff, branched, with sessile leafy involucre; flowers 12-14 mm across, yellow; pedicel 1.5-2.5 cm long; petals yellow, obovate; achenes large, on elevated receptacle
