Dear all,

Kindly help to confirm this Commelinaceae herb. Could this be Cyanotis sp.?

Plant Habit-	herb
Height/Length-	ca. 1m; trailing
Leaves Type/ Shape/ Size-	8 x 2.5 cm
Inflorescence Type/ Size-	axillary cyme; 1cm across
Flowers Size/ Colour/ Calyx/ Bracts-	light purple
Fruits Type/ Shape/ Size Seeds-
Other Information like Fragrance, Pollinator, Uses etc.-

Dear Karthick,

This could be Cyanotis axillaris.

But am not sure about the identity as the allied species C.cucullata also look alike. But differs in characters of their fruit.

If you could give the details about the fruit, I can sort it out for you.
