Crucifer from Kashmir for ID-Iberis sp??

Crucifer from Kashmir for ID, grown in Botanical Garden near Cheshmashahi in Srinagar, photographed on June 26, 2010. Appears to be some species of Iberis but not able to place as the long narrow linear-spatulate leaves are distinctive.

Looks like Candytuft to me too (Iberis amara), or maybe a cultivar of it.

Tabish ji
The flowers were unusually large, purplish tinge, also note the clear difference in leaf shape.
