Dear all,
Please help to identify this common herb found in western districts of Tamil Nadu. Is this a weed?

Plant Habit-

Unarmed Herb or sub-shrub

Height/Length- 

Up to 0.7 metre

Leaves Type/ Shape/ Size- 

7 x 2cm; white pubescent; auricled base

Inflorescence Type/ Size- 

raceme

Flowers Size/ Colour/ Calyx/ Bracts- 

violet

Fruits Type/ Shape/ Size Seeds- 

0.8cm across
