Was searching to observe the fruits of Tinospora cordifolia
Family Minispermaceae.(गुळवेल)
Ultimately I found it next door in the backyard growing wild.
Just wanted to share.

Dear Sathish sir,
Thanks for sharing. Can you please check the petiole, I thought it
looks hairy. If it is then the plant can be Tinospora sinensis
otherwise you are 100% correct.
Sorry for cross checking......

Pankaj ji is perhaps right

Brandis in "Indian Trees", mentions fruits fruits to be red in T. cordifolia and crimson in T. malabarica (now synonym of T. sinensis). Also fruiting pedicels appear longer in above plant. I am uploading my specimens of T. cordifolia for comparison.

Hi,
This is Tinospora cordifolia. Have both on my farm. My photographs, if required for comparison, are already in the archives of this site.
                     With regards,
                       Neil Soares.

Recently there was a news in Star TV that this is good in treatment of Swine flu.

Regards,

Mani.
