During my bird study , I found this Herb in the kaiga forest.
ID requested for the following attachment.

Date/Time-: 9/03/11 13:20

Location- Place, Altitude - Kaiga , Uttar Kannada ,Karnataka, 380 mtrs

Habitat- Garden/ Urban/ Wild/ Type- Wild

Plant Habit- Tree/ Shrub/ Climber/ Herb- Herb

Height/Length-35cm

Flowers Color -Pink

Dear Puttaraju ji,
This one should be Canscora perfoliata (Family: Gentianaceae).

Canscora indeed..

But not Canscora perfoliata.

Can you send more photos showing vegetative characters.
