This climber is from Pench Tiger Reserve

Photo taken in July, Aug 2005

I think it is Momordica dioca

locally it is called Kheksi

experts pl confirm or id otherwise

Thanks for uploading the young fruits of Momordica dioica for the first time of our group sites. The name of this cropped up when Nabha ji had uploaded a cucurbit as sweet Karela. We uploaded fruits of all plants which came up during the thread: Sechium edule, Cyclanthera pedata (which was ultimately Nabha ji's plant), Momordica charantia, but are seeing the young plants only today. Thanks for uploading real sweet karela.
