Dear all,
I photographed this beautiful flower- Strelitzia reginae today.
Location- Pu La Deshpande Garden, Pune ( Sinhagad road)
Date- 1 st Oct 11.

Gurcharan sir and Balkar sir.
Really, the sheath from which the flower emerges -spathe ( placed perpendicular to the stem ) gives it the appearance of a bird's head and beak.
