Tree/Berries ID please

Hi All,
      Made this image on saturday (12/04/2008) in western ghats in the uttara kannada district of karnataka.
The tree was attracting a lot of birds..
This one is with the gold fronted leafbird.
Request if someone can help me with the ID of the tree,

Sorry! you mentioned berries. It cannot be silk cotton tree in that
case. I can guess that this belongs to ficus family.

It is Sapium insigne locally called Chicada.

This is what the tree looks during the rainy
season [August] and in March.
The photographs were taken on the climb up to
Karnala Fort [near Bombay].
