Eleusine indica (Linn.) Gaertn., Fruct. Sem. Pl. 1:8. 1788

A common grass in shaded and moist places, cultivated fields and neglected lawns in DDelhi.

Basionym:
Cynosurus indicus L. Sp. Pl. 1: 72. 1753.

Type: Epitype - Sri Lanka. Central Province, Matale District, 5 miles
South of Matale on Kandy Road, 1970, Clayton 5330. (K)
