Dear all i am attaching the image of
Garcinia cambogia
and Garcinia xanthochymus collected near a hill stream from Nayagarh district, Orissa.

Place of collection: Nayagarh
Date of collection: 01/05/11
Altitude: 600 m above msl
Habitat: Near perennial hill stream

The id's seems to be ok for me. But for conformation, at least for the
first picture, we need more information, mainly on flowers and color
of the exudate from the bark.

The Id of the second picture is seems to be correct! My guess is based
on the size and shape of leaves.

Further, the species name G. cambogia is now a synonym of Garcinia
gummi-gutta (L.) Roxb. of Clusiaceae family.

A friendly reminder. When you upload pictures next time please try
follow the format for uploading pictures to the group such as pictures
of one species per post and so on.
