Taken this pix in Pench tiger Reserve on 23-9-06, I had some doubts regarding its id but thanks to Dr Vijayshankar for posting it.

Hackelochloa granularis (L.) Kuntze Revis. Gen. Pl. 2: 776. 1891.

Basionym:
Cenchrus granularis L. Mant. Pl. Altera : 575. 1771.

Type: Lectotype - Herb. Linn. No. 1217.12 (LINN)
