 Lactuca sativa var. crispa, the crisped loosehead lettuce, has crisped leaves forming a loose head, comes in two colours: green and tinged with red. Used as salad and stuffing in sandwitches, burgers, etc.
 
Common names: Curled lettuce, red leaf lettuce, green leaf lettuce.
