Abelmoschus esculentus (L.) Moench., Methodus 617, 1794 (syn: Hibiscus esculentus L.)

Commonly grown as fruit vegetable in Delhi and other parts of India. Photographed from DU Botanical Garden.

Common Names: Lady's fingers, gombo, okra
Hindi: Bhindi
