Thunbergia laurifolia Lindl., Gard. Chron. 1856: 260 260 1856.
syn: Thunbergia grandiflora var. laurifolia (Lindl.) Benoist
Woody climber similar to T. grandiflora but with ovate-lanceolate leaves; flowers in racemes; pedicel about 2 cm.
