Madhuri ji ... this plant was found during that time (Dec'06) in gardens of Green Acres Phase II (near Vijaynagari Annex) ... stressing on this point because Phase III may have rose up in that area.

Larger images at office premises, Andheri, Mumbai should be of should be Malvaviscus penduliflorus DC.
