Thunbergia erecta (Benth.) T.Anderson, J. Proc. Linn. Soc., Bot. 7: 18 1864.

syn: Meyenia erecta Benth.

Erect or scandent shrub with ovate, entire up to 7 cm long leaves and solitary flowers with purplish-blue corolla and whitish tube. Photographed from rest house adjacent to Tikkar tal lake, Morni Haryana

Common nanes: King's-mantle; bush clock vine

Status of this plant also needs to be confirmed in light of 1999 paper mentioned in another thread, but treated as accepted name in Kew Plant List.
