A tree in full bloom in Chamba

Location Chamba
Altitude 800-1000 mts
Habit tree
Habitat wild.. (not sure, it was growing all over the town but not in
countryside)
Height 15mts

Could be Jacaranda sp.   
(Family:
Bignoniaceae).

Yes this is Jacaranda mimosifolia
Introduced and now naturalized in many places of the world... a
favorite street tree in Southern California cities....

Jacaranda mimosifolia. Seeds are winged and fruits seem to stay on
trees for eternity...
