Common names: dense-thorn bitter-apple, red buffalo-bur, sticky nightshade, viscid nightshade, wild tomato
Annual prickly herb, prickles straight, up to 15 mm long; plant sticky pubescent, leaves pinnately lobed; flowers white or pale blue, about 4 cm across; calyx prickly; fruit red, about 1 cm across, enclosed in calyx.
