crataeva species

Crataeva tapia

After a telephonic conversation with neil soares, I have pegged this down to Crataeva tapia, which is synonymous with nurvula and religiosa

The flowers were greenish white and the tree smallish in size about 8m. Image 6 shows an unripe berry. There are three trees which have been flowering profusely at bal bhavan on marine drive for the last three weeks. Flowers are beginning to fall now and the trees are getting greener with new foliage.

Would very much appreciate a confirmation
