Dear all,

Boesenbergia pulcherrima (Wall.) Kuntze of Zingiberaceae (Ginger) family. This is a small annual herb growing in the floor of evergreen and semi evergreen forests. At present we work on the pollination ecology of this species.

It should be Boesenbergia tiliifolia as Sabu ji has stated in the following thread that B. pulcherrima is present only in NE India:
