Rubus ellipticus Smith

A strong clambering evergreen shrub strongly prickly mixed with brownish bristles; leaflets 3, ovate to elliptic, obtose to short-acute, gray-tomentose beneath, slightly wrinkled above; flowers white in panicles, fruit yellow. 

Common in subtropical Himalayas. Photographed from Kud in J & K and Mussoorie Chakrata road

We also use these to make a delicious Jam in our women's vocational
training unit... :)
