Narendra ji: please do not write in others' threads... not nice, its
distracting to members not respectful of the original thread maker....

and more importantly, it messes up the database...

THESE ARE JUST NOT OUR GROUP RULES... these are rules that apply to
most internet groups.....

AND ... YOUR QUERY CAN NEVER GET THE DETAILED ATTENTION IT
DESERVES, SINCE THE OLDER THREAD GETS BURIED IN HISTORY.... and you
may not have recived the answer yet...

PLEASE START A NEW THREAD FOR YOUR QUERY...
lets start right here... with this query... please open your hotmail
account, compose a new email, send to eflora with a unique subject
line... such as " roses in India NS question september 2 2011 " or
whatever you choose to name your thread....

ANd then see how much help you'll get

THANK you
Usha di

A reply:
"Narendraji,
There are two cvs of Desi rose which can be grown in Mumbai climate. But pl do not expect any good flowering in Rains.
one cvs is pink, commonly used for 'Gulkand' for years together.
Another cv is red ,generally used in Gujrat.
Both are floribandas, with multiple flower inflorescence.
Both cv are available in many mumbai nurseries.
