Thanks, Pankaj ji, Singh ji & Tanay ji.
But leaves look quite different from Anaphalis nubigena at another post of mine:
https://groups.google.com/group/indiantreepix/browse_thread/thread/7bbbed503f97942b?hl=en

There are two different plants at two different locations on the trek in the post 19 & 19B.

This one looks A. nubigena. he other one has definitely broader leaves with sessile almost amplexicaul leaves, but clearly one-nerved. The heads in two (especially closed ones) look similar. The other one does not match with any other species known to me.

Thanks, Singh ji & Pankaj ji.
It may be Anaphalis nubigena var. nubigena as suggested by you. This is a syn. of Anaphalis triplinervis var. monocephala (DC.) Airy Shaw as per GCC (updated in 9/2011) as plants are having only one head on a stem.

Herb19B I IMG_4742.jpg may be different species.
