Centaurium pulchellum (Sw.) Druce, Fl. Berks. 342. 1897
syn: Erythraea ramosissima (Vill.) Pers.; Gentiana pulchella Sw. Gentiana ramosissima Vill.
Usually a small annual herb with branches mostly from base or middle; leaves ellptic lanceolate up to 2.5 cm long, up to 1 cm broad, entire; flowers in dichasial cymes, pink; calyx tubular; corolla tubular, tube longer than lobes, lobes ovate-lanceolate obtuse; capsule oblong, included in the calyx.
