Request help for ID of the following flower plan shot as per details below:
Date/Time- December 2008
Location- Place, Altitude, GPS- Talakona / Nagapatla near Tirupati
Habitat- Garden/ Urban/ Wild/ Type- Wild
Plant Habit- Tree/ Shrub/ Climber/ Herb- Small Plant
Height/Length- 3 ft
Leaves Type/ Shape/ Size- As in photo
Inflorescence Type/ Size- NA
Flowers Size/ Colour/ Calyx/ Bracts- Like orchid
Fruits Type/ Shape/ Size Seeds- NA
Other Information like Fragrance, Pollinator, Uses etc.- NA

This is Martynia annua....common names Devil's Claws or Tiger's Claws.
