Please help me with the Tamil name of Bruguiera gymnorhiza, sigapukokandam in Tamil script (Ref: ENVIS - FRLHT)
It could be perhaps be sigappu-kakandan (Ref: Forest Trees of South India by S.G. Neginhal IFS)
OR may be sigappu-kaakandan (Ref: Flora of Peninsular India)

Dear Dinesh ji,

In the book "Tamil names of botanical names" by Yercaud Ilango, the following Tamil names are used for this plant:
சிகப்பு கொகண்டம் (sigappu kokandam), சிகப்பு காகந்தன் (sigappu kaakandan)

The Plants of Tamil Nadu database records the name Sivappu kaakandal (சிவப்பு காக்கண்டல்) for this species.
