Pl. identify this ornamental garden plant.
Locality: Chandannagar in Hoogli district of West Bengal
Height: 4 m (tree) with watery latex
plant twig with mucilaginous adhesive and glands

Agree with Dr. Gurcharanji. Very common in home gaardens. I have a plant
 Some varieties have crimson and relatively large flowers.

Jatropha integerrima - is a very common garden plant in Chennai.
Most of the time it is in flower.
