Herewith attaching Cyanotis burmanniana Wt.
Collected from Wynad 
Capture date: 18/08/2011

Flowering Sept to December 
The species is found in India and Sri Lanka. It is found growing exposed or partially shade as annual.

To me another synonym for the family name Commelinaceae is Mayur Nandikar !!
(Of course you could be having some other family OR families in your scope of study).
