O Building a Hackerspace

Hi all,
 
After our superb event Hardware Freedom Day some of the community members
has come up with an idea of building a hackerspace at trivandrum..So whats
the opinion of everyone...Those who dont know what hackerspace is go
through this wikipedia page and update your opinion in the thread..

Good idea,Ganesh.
 it will be great path showing activity to the students.
My suggestion is that you can keep one of the meetings in month for hackerspace activity. So you can take along Open Source with it

Well, sorry I missed your Hardware Freedom day due to some other commitments. Please hold another one - will try to make it. Hacker space sounds like a cool idea.

Hi all,

Its a nice thing to see fellow enthusiasts trying hard to bring up a nice community over Trivandrum. I love the concept of Hackerspace and would love to share my views on it. We are setting up one in Trivandrum and opening up by the end of this month. Please feel free to share your thoughts and help me in realising this endeavour for the betterment of our community.
