installation of Canon LBP 2900B printer

Hi,
Anybody in the group who has successfully installed Canon LBP 2900B printer in GNU/Linux? Pls put up a howto for the benefit of the group. A CAPT Driver is available for CUPS from Canon India. but it wont work until some tweaking is done.

I yet never Installed printer...
But at the time when I need to print ,I just on the printer and click print option in the page which i need to print...And It will automatically detect my printer...So I think their is no need to install printer in Linux...
