Hello

I am using Pidgin (Ubuntu 8.10) to connect to my gmail account and for the past few days i am getting this error

Could not establish a connection with the server:
Access denied: HTTP proxy server forbids port 5222 tunneling.

Anybody else having this issue? Is there any workaround for this? Please help.

Regards
Ankur

yes this issue is created coz the CSC restricted the fowarding of port 5222
The workaround is make the port 443 and put talk.google.com in the server field.
