         Our college(University School of Information Technology) wishes to invites all the students  from various other colleges for the workshop on FOSS(Free and Open Source Software) which is going to be held in the college on this Saturday i.e. 29th August 2009.The other FOSS activist are also invited in the workshop for their allegiance in making the workshop program successful.The venue for this workshop is CR-72 (GGSIP University , Kashmere Gate , Delhi ) and workshop will start from 1:00 AM onwards. (Timing has been changed)

NOTE: Bringing a laptop with a LINUX distro pre-installed or a live CD (Many Linux Distros are Available on University's Intranet @ ftp://172.16.172.172/ftp/ ) is highly recommended.

@Narendra Media Team is in the process of Poster Designing it will be ready soon.

almost same, beside Lab has access of PC so one can sit and try out GNU/Linux Distro !!

After midsem in IIT, folks at IITD (aanal, alok, mayank, other)* will plan for next coding/documentation workshop OR any other activity in IITD which they want.
But I will keep moving from one college to another !!

Thnx to the afford made by the Speakers and the SAInT team the workshop is conducted successfully (73 guys/gals have attended the workshop).I just want to thank Mr.Nalin Savara( CEO and Technical Director at DS Tech ) for addressing and giving a such a great speech on various field in FOSS as carrier (Irrespective of the fact that he is not feeling WELL),Mr Atul (FOSSONE) for giving such a nice interactive session in Linux and oss-course Mr.Narendra Sisodiya for guiding the student abt the various tools like eclipse and other foss tools.also special thnx to Mann (President SAInT) , Nishant Dahiya (Chief Organizer . InfoX) for guiding us in completing the formalities in the College regarding the arrangements, Deepak (for taking the pain of doing  the Arrangement) ,Special thnx to  Anish ,Vikas ,Anupan ,Avneesh,Vivek Chauhan ,Anurag Maloo ( Media Head ) ,Siddarth for their Supports...........

Yes , It can happen in any college. Provided guys/gal of that college are interested to organize and they ready  to form a team to manage the workshop !!
