Hi David,
I’ve been plugging away at data entry all afternoon. I just created a “brand new” record and was able to do so without losing my date field… so even though you didn’t ask, here are my steps for creating a duplicate record as this is the type of record I regularly create:
v Select existing item entry
v Duplicate entry
v Open fields and delete/populate as required
· Within dates of creation, delete
· Select add new
· Populate date field
· Press submit
v See filled date field:
v Continue with data entry
v Select “published” as publication status
v Select save
v Receive following message:
v Select edit again, populate date field again and save again - the second save seems to keep it.
