I've heard reports that people have been having trouble posting. Just
checking...

I'll remind everyone that the Over the Water Hurdy-gurdy Festival is coming up
- I hope that the OTW team is able to post soon.

(I hoped to go to OTW this year, but I had to pay up some debts - buying furniture for a new home is more expensive than I expected... I hope I'll be there next year!)

The Over the Water Hurdy Gurdy Festival is only a month away. Held in the wonderful Pacific Northwest, this is the 15th year of the Festival. This year we have some fantastic instructors.  Thierry Nouat will be teaching Traditional Hurdy Gurdy.  For Early Music we have Tobie Miller and our Beginner instructor is Scott Gayman. Cali Hackmann will be leading us all in HG Maintenance and we have several great special interest classes as well.

Please join us for some fantastic instruction, jamming with friends, wonderful food (yes, Julie will be our chef), and beautiful environment.  Be sure to get your registration in right away. For more information please visit our website at: www.overthewater.org or contact us at in...@overthewater.org

We hope to see you all there!

Hi, Alden and All-
We, the board, have been meeting regularly and the festival is
shaping up nicely. I'm really happy to be part of the process this
year and even more excited to get to attend! Oooh, all those neat
classes to take! I'll be teaching one, too, with William about using
the gurdy for song accompaniment. That should be interesting, at
least it will be for me as I don't usually teach anything. I'll also
be available for Reiki (just google it for more information if you're
interested) sessions as well.

Check out the website, folks, for more information on the classes and
fun things to do in and around Fort Flagler/Port Townsend. Here's

It's looking pretty doubtful for me, this year. Employment is threatening.
