I know what I am building tonight.
That makes perfect sense and having it fold up into one piece you can
carry is genius. Oh and saves tons of time when you set it up.
I need to rework my full scale mock up tonight as the taping went
badly last night.
This version for the roof will make the taping go much better.

Has anyone built a hexayurt without walls just corner posts? I was
thinking of different gazebo type ideas.

yes i have made A gazebo Hexayurt we at the CPU go to a lot of festivals so
a gazebo was one of the first Hexayurts we ever made. had a bit of truble
with wind wanting to nock it over but a milk jug full of water at each post
tied to the roof fixed the proplem
