Dear all,
Does anyone have any info on "Waste Not Technologies" out of Florida? http://www.wntllc.net/

Here's an article on them from Oklahoma:
"Waste Recycling Company to Bring 1,400 Jobs to Okmulgee"
http://www.newson6.com/Global/story.asp?S=11437304

It looks like they want to build resource recovery parks, but is awfully vague on the actual processes. Their site claims that they can manage 95% of MSW by processing it into new products, although has no description of the actual process beyond a list of "mini mills":
1. Eco Products, LLC
2. WNT Commodities, LLC
3. Green Glass, LLC
4. Renew Products, LLC
5. Green Ties, LLC
6. GreenTech Blending, LLC
7. Waste Not Fiberboard, LLC
8. WallTech, LLC
9. WNT Transportation, LLC
Thanks,
Monica

Like most such promotional websites, there's not enough info to know what if anything they are really about.

For instance:

"Each WNT Separation facility processes the Municipal Solid Waste stream into five primary materials."  But what these five "primary materials" are isn't stated.

The only "products" they seem specific about are here:

• Lower ash rate and decrease SO2 and NOX emissions
        by utilizing fuel cubes

• Fuel cubes combine with low BTU coal to provide energy companies with a green source of high BTU energy for            power generation.

Sounds like compressed "cubes" of RDF to be cofired in coal plants.  No thank you.

I don't know this company, but you may want to check into this person who is the administrative contact for the website's domain registration:

Schera Harrison
120 parkridge road
florence, AL 35630
850-502-6454
scherah...@yahoo.com

To find this, go to: http://whois.sc/wntllc.net (you can use this format for any domain name to find its owners... just change the wntlls.net to the domain of another site).  The domain lookup site indicates that this person owns 10 other domains, too.

A reverse search ( http://www.whitepages.com/reverse-lookup) of the street address shows that it belongs to William R Little.  Do more searches based on these names and maybe you'll find more.

I'd also recommend doing some lookups of corporate name registrations in FL and AL.  If you can search them by officer name, do that too, in case these people are tied to related corporations.

Also, Elizabeth Crowe posted to the StopIncinerators-US list in June asking about a company by this name.  Maybe she knows more by now.  Her note is below.

Has anyone ever heard of "Waste Not Technologies?"  They make fence posts out of recycled plastic and are thinking about siting a plant in Kentucky.

If you have heard of them, or have emissions or resource requirement details on other recycled plastics manufacturing facilities, please email me directly.

Thanks,
Elizabeth

This company is owned by Global Green Holdings, of Destin, Florida.
http://www.gghllc.com/

They are also mentioned with reference to Abilene, KS where the plans
are similar to the Oklahoma plans.

Also Van Buren County, Michigan.

The CEO and driving force appears to be: http://www.gghllc.com/Bios_DRBennett.html
The company looks substantial in terms of who is involved.

They appear to own a facility called WNT Shoals (Alabama?) which is
listed as an EPA cleanup site?

The idea is to convert 95% of the mixed waste stream into various
products using mini-mills. http://www.thedestinlog.com/articles/technologies-10893-based-trash.html
