Hi Everyone,

Below is a list of events that I have been informed of; it would be
great if we can get a GradPride group together to attend these events.
Please let me know if you would like to attend any of the events
listed below:

Tuesday, Sept. 20: The SPPSA (School of Public Policy Student
Association) is proud to announce a Back to School Bash on from 430 to
730 at Northside Social. Northside Social is located at 3211 Wilson
Blvd in Arlington, and upstairs in the back room.

Wednesday Sept. 21st: Rainbow Response is hosting a Train the Trainer
event. Rainbow Response works with the Metropolitan Police Department
and conducts trainings at the Police Academy as well as for other
undergraduate universities, non-profits, etc. Currently, Amy
Loudermilk is the only person who is conducting trainings, so she's
hoping to find other folks interested in ending LGBT intimate partner
violence. The training would be from 6-9pm at 5 Thomas Circ. NW,
Washington D.C. in the 3rd floor conference room. The Rainbow
Response Coalition is a group of folks who are interested in helping
address issues around LGBT Domestic/Intimate Partner Violence.

Friday, Sept. 23rd: IDB GLOBE HAPPY HOUR & WORKOUT EVENT located at
1150 18th St NW #130

that you won't soon forget." Stay for discussion afterwards. For more
info about Hispanic Heritage Month please visit:

able to accept her condition and embark on a soul-searching healing
process. The lecture will be followed by a reception with Merri Lisa
Johnson at 1:30 in the Women and Gender Studies Center (JC 240K).The
event is part of Fall for the Book. For more information about the

Marvin,

Do you know if I show up to the Rainbow Response Coalition discussion around 8:00 because of class, is that do-able? That's an issue I'm very into.

Thanks!
Adam
